Miss Alyssa

Alyssa Gatan is a Cal Poly San Luis Obispo graduate with her B.S in marine science and minor in dance from San Diego, CA. Starting at a young age, she trained in ballet, jazz, contemporary, tap, hip hop, swing, and musical theatre. She developed a love for choreography at an early age by assisting and creating choreography for her school productions such as the Wiz, Footloose, and Mary Poppins. She then started teaching classes at various studios in Washington and San Luis Obispo, led her Pilipino club’s hip hop troupe for two years, directed and choreographed her filipino club’s 30th annual Pilipinx Cultural Night and the Spring Dance Concert put on by Cal Poly’s Theatre and Dance Department. Upon moving down to L.A she had the chance to work with Dexter Carr, Richy Jackson, and Todrick Hall. Alyssa continues to follow her dreams of becoming a professional dancer and is excited to share her huge passion for dance and performing arts with your little dancers.
