About Miss Kris
Kris was raised in Pennsylvania and began dancing at 2 years old. She was always dancing, singing, or putting on plays for her family & friends. She has studied tap, ballet, jazz, pointe, contemporary, modern, hip hop and continued dancing all throughout high school with doing every talent shows or musical there was. Her junior and senior year in high school she was the lead in each musical & that successfully led her to pursue performing in college. It’s there that Kris first began teaching in her senior year. Every week during the last semester of her college journey, Kris volunteered at the Women & Children’s Hospital of Buffalo to offer “Artistic Therapy” to patients. She would create a healing & learning environment for child patients through expressive movement. Being able to share dance in this type of experience truly humbled and prioritized her feelings on being a leader and passing her knowledge of dance on for a positive outcome. She then graduated from SUNY Buffalo with a Bachelor in Fine Arts (concentrating in Ballet) and a few months later moved to Los Angeles. Right away Kris began her professional dance career by training & performing all over LA; Ranging from backup dancing on tour, countless music videos, performing live with different companies and for two years was a Magician’s Assistant touring California as well as working at the Magic Castle in Hollywood. Over the course of these opportunities, Kris developed a rapport with several studios and continued teaching all over the LA County.
Kris is ecstatic about being a part of our REACH Dance Community and is so excited for the journey ahead!
