About Miss Raquel
Ms Raquel was born and raised in Dallas, Texas where she grew up training at Dallas Powerhouse of Dance and Booker T. Washington High School for the Performing and Visual Arts. She continued her dance education as a BFA Dance major at the University of Texas at Austin where she explored her love for choreography, performing and dance pedagogy. Throughout her dance training she worked with choreographers including Andee Scott, Coutney Mazeika, Charles O. Anderson, Chuck Wilt, Gesel Mason, Madison Hicks, Rennie Harris and many more. She believes that dance is about so much more than just movement itself and found that there is so much to be learned about life within the walls of a dance studio. Raquel is so excited to share her joy for dance with all of the students at Reach!
