About Miss Amanda
Amanda is a Los Angeles-based dance artist, who jumpstarted her professional career after graduating magna cum laude in Exercise Science and Dance Performance from Grand Canyon University. She first began dancing with Selah Dance Collective and Nebula Dance Lab in Santa Barbara, California, leading to her performance in over 10 different shows throughout SB, Los Angeles, and New York. Amanda has expanded her dance training through scholarship intensives with Los Angeles Contemporary Dance Company, festivals such as MashUp Dance Collective, and guest work with the University of Santa Barbara California. Her choreographic work has been presented at the Herberger Festival of the Arts and more. Amanda is now a full time dance and Pilates teacher at the school of Los Angeles, with 4+ years of experience teaching 1,000+ students. She is excited to have relocated to LA, and looks forward to teaching, dancing, and creating for as long as she can with students and Reach For The Barres’ Faculty.
