Miss Ruby

Miss Ruby hails from San Francisco, California, where she spent 15 years dancing in the Grrrl Brigade Dance Company at Dance Mission Theater, starting at the age of 4.  She was also involved in the ODC Dance Company, along with Alonzo King Lines Ballet, focusing in ballet and contemporary. Ruby has experience in hip hop, belly dance, salsa, afro-brazilian, bhangra, and taiko drumming as well. Around the age of 15,  she began share all she had learned on the dance floor as a teaching assistant, and soon began being entrusted with teaching  her very own classes in creative movement at Dance Mission Theater, and began her love of teaching. She attends Occidental College here in Los Angeles with a major in Sociology and minor in Education. Miss Ruby is excited to pass her deep love for dance here at REACH, especially to little ones who are so eager to learn.
