Who we are?
Reach For The Barres is a joyful dance studio for growing dancers ages 18 months through 18 years, where students learn the foundations of ballet, tap, jazz, hip hop, and contemporary movement in a creative and engaging environment.
Our studio is built on the belief that dance education should develop confidence, creativity, and connection in every child. We focus on strong fundamentals while creating a supportive and nurturing atmosphere where students can grow without the pressure of competition.
At Reach, children are encouraged to strive for their personal best while still having fun and experiencing the joy of movement.

Responsibilities:
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- teaching dance classes for students ages 4+
- following the studio’s curriculum and lesson plan structure
- preparing students for class performances and recital
- maintaining classroom structure and behavioral expectations
- supporting the safety and well-being of students
- assisting with occasional studio operations when needed
- choreographing for classes as assigned
- participating in our annual recital at the Wilshire Ebell Theatre in Los Angeles
Qualifications
Qualified candidates should demonstrate:
- experience teaching dance, working with children, or leading youth programs
- strong classroom leadership and communication skills
- the ability to create a structured yet joyful learning environment
- professionalism and reliability
- reliable transportation to and from the studio
CPR or First Aid Certification is preferred. If not currently certified, instructors must be willing to obtain certification.
