Performance Company FAQs

Our Performance Companies are accelerated, audition-based programs designed for dancers who are ready to commit to deeper training, teamwork, and performance opportunities throughout the season.

Company dancers are motivated, focused, and excited to grow. They enjoy structure, love being part of a team, and are ready to prioritize dance as a meaningful commitment.

Both Spotlight and Connections are audition-based, performance-focused programs designed for dancers who are ready to grow beyond weekly recreational training.

Both tracks develop performance excellence, but Spotlight also intentionally develops leadership presence and rehearsal stewardship.

Spotlight Company is our highest commitment track. Dancers in Spotlight choose dance as a primary extracurricular focus. They train at an advanced level with increased weekly hours, expanded performance opportunities, and structured leadership development through mentorship, goal-setting, and team stewardship.

Connections Company offers a structured performance experience with strong technical training and meaningful performance opportunities, while maintaining a slightly more flexible weekly commitment. It is ideal for dancers who are ready for an accelerated track with added performance opportunities, but are balancing additional activities.

Placement is based on skill readiness, training foundation, work ethic, and overall alignment with each program’s commitment level. Our goal is always to place dancers where they will be challenged, supported, and set up for long-term growth.

The difference is not who is ‘better,’ it’s about choosing the right path for where a dancer is in their journey and where they want to grow.

Company participation includes required weekly classes, rehearsals, performances, and seasonal events. Specific schedules and expectations will be reviewed in detail during the Parent Info Meetings.
