Wow, what a week! Our first progress week of Season 11, Halloweek, was an incredible success. It was a blast seeing all of our amazing dancers embrace the spooky spirit and come to class in their fantastic Halloween costumes. From tiny princesses to sparkly superheroes, your creativity made the studio shine.
This Halloweek was all about allowing our dancers to elevate and celebrate the fantastic progress they have made over the first eight weeks of the season.
Celebrating Every Step of Progress
For our youngest dancers, from Toddlers up through 1st and 2nd Grade, Halloweek was a special chance to show off their growing skills. They dazzled us with their new steps, rhythms, and confidence. It is truly amazing to see how much they have bloomed in just a few short weeks.
Leveled Dancers: Lights, Camera, Action!
Our leveled classes (Grades 3 and up) celebrated their progress in style. These dancers got to show off their hard work by starring in a cool video showcase of their class moves. It is a wonderful way to capture their technique and passion as they continue to refine their skills.
A massive THANK YOU to all of our families for helping make this week so fun and memorable, from the creative costumes to the high energy.

Halloweek at Reach For The Barres
Hey Reach for the Barre Families! 🌟
Get ready to shake your spooky bones! 🎃 Halloweek is creeping up on us (October 25th-31st), and we’re throwing a ghoulishly-fun in-studio performance for our dancers in Toddler-Primary Classes!
On your dance day during Halloweek, one grown-up per dancer (in toddler to primary class) is invited to sneak a peek at the last 10 minutes of class and witness their amazing progress. It’s the perfect way for our tiny dancers to shine and build their confidence before our big recital! 🤩
Costumes are HIGHLY encouraged! Whether it’s a sparkly Halloween get-up, a past recital costume, or anything in between, let’s add some extra sparkle to the fun! ✨ (Psst… costumes can be a HUGE confidence booster for our little ones, so raid those dress-up bins! 😉)

Don’t worry, we haven’t forgotten about you! We’ll be sending out a special performance video of your dancer’s class so you can catch all the action and see how much they’ve grown! 🎬 Be sure to download our app and accept your invitations into your class group to ensure you’re receiving all you class details.

The Spotlight is On: The Splits Club & Patch!
The Splits Club is an established way we recognize incredible determination and the fantastic flexibility our dancers develop through their training. This exclusive patch is awarded to any student who achieves their splits, whether it’s a left split, right split, or a perfect center split. It’s a true testament to their hard work and dedication.
But that’s not all! Along with the patch, dancers who conquer their splits will also receive a special Certificate of Achievement at our End-of-Year Party where they can showcase their skills and enjoy some well-deserved recognition and sweet treats!
Patches: Building Your Collection
Every dancer is a part of our patch program! We are so excited for every dancer to build on the Season 11 patch they received on their first day – in their Welcome Boxes (new dancers) or Welcome Back Bags (returning dancers). Whether it’s their first patch or their fifth, each one they earn represents a milestone in their dance journey, and a visual reminder of their progress and commitment.
