Ms Sharun

Sharun Bell was born and raised in the Midwest where she grew up dancing, and is a graduate of University of Iowa. At both UI, as well as The New School (Eugene Lang) she was able to study dance within the styles of: contemporary, hiphop, and jazz. She is an all around creative person and loves music, art, and all forms of creative expression. She has enjoyed dance from a young age especially because of its ability to create community, empowerment, and a positive impact. Through teaching, she has found it especially important to create a safe space for all dancers and young people to express and be themselves. It is always one of Sharun’s greatest goals to be a leader within her community that her younger self would be proud to see.
