About Ms Tyra
Classically trained dancer Tyra Bell has taught and choreographed from a young age. She has studied at the Joffrey Ballet, Ailey School in NYC, and under Aimee Langlas of the Joffrey Ballet in her youth. She has performance credentials with the Minnesota Ballet, among others. Within her experiences choreographing for competitive dance and being on a collegiate dance team herself, she has accumulated an understanding and studied many different genres within her dance journey. Tyra blends all the notable techniques to provide a fun and safe learning environment. Her strengths are yoga, ballet, modern techniques, jazz, and contemporary, among other things. She enjoys training, activism, and performance art. With prior experience volunteering, she has spent memorable hours sharing her love of dance and believes it unites us. She is always ready to expand her great passion for body work, movement, expression, and loves being a forever student. Thrilled to pass on her knowledge, she has worked with all ages and strives to create in a way that meets the unique needs of the group. Tyra believes that movement can help build a firm foundation for life.
