Company dancers are motivated, focused, and excited to grow. They enjoy structure, love being part of a team, and are ready to prioritize dance as a meaningful commitment.
What’s the difference between Spotlight Company and Connections Company?
Both Spotlight and Connections are audition-based, performance companies designed to support dancers in their growth, confidence, and love of dance.
Placement is based on a combination of readiness, skill level, and overall fit, and is thoughtfully determined by our team.
Spotlight Company
Spotlight Company is our most advanced and highly committed program.
Dancers in Spotlight are ready for:

- Greater independence in applying corrections and managing expectations
This program is designed for dancers who are prepared to prioritize their training and take on a higher level of responsibility within a team setting.
Connections Company
Connections Company is a performance-based program designed for dancers who are continuing to build their technique, confidence, and consistency.
Dancers in Connections are:
- Strengthening foundational skills and performance quality
- Developing independence in class and rehearsal settings
- Growing into increased commitment and responsibility over time
This program offers a strong performance experience while allowing space for dancers to continue developing at the right pace.
Our Approach to Placement
We believe that dancers grow best when they are placed in an environment that both supports and challenges them appropriately.
Each placement is made with care, with the goal of helping every dancer:
- Feel confident
- Stay motivated
- Continue progressing in a healthy and sustainable way
If you have questions about your dancer’s placement, we’re always happy to connect.
What is the time commitment like?
Company participation includes required weekly classes, rehearsals, performances, and seasonal events. Specific schedules and expectations will be reviewed in detail during the Parent Info Meetings.
Are performances required?
Yes. Performance opportunities are a core part of the company experience and help dancers grow in confidence, artistry, and professionalism.
Does my dancer need prior company experience to audition?
No prior company experience is required. We welcome dancers who feel ready for the next step in their training and are excited to learn more.
What ages can audition?
Company auditions are open to dancers entering elementary school and up. Groupings and placement are determined during the audition process.
How do we get started?
The first step is attending a Parent Informational Q&A. This meeting is required for any family planning to audition and provides important context before auditions begin.
