About Miss Lydia
Ms. Lydia brings a wealth of dance knowledge to our studio, with a diverse background in ballet, modern, jazz, contemporary, African, hip hop, tap, musical theatre, and improvisation. Originally from Longwood, Florida, and raised in Arlington, Texas, she began her training at age 12 and has been deeply immersed in the world of dance ever since.
Lydia received her Bachelor of Fine Arts in Dance from the University of North Texas in August 2018. During her college years, she danced as a company member of imPULSE Dance Project for two seasons and has performed and trained with a variety of companies, including Zion Dance Project, Noble Motion, Doug Varone and Dancers, and Arcos Dance. After graduating, she joined Ad Deum Dance Company’s 2nd company for two seasons. She is currently a company member with Benita Bike’s Dance Art and Geometry 2 in Los Angeles.
This is Ms. Lydia’s third season with the Reach For The Barres family. She is passionate about sharing her love for dance through teaching and choreography, and we are so excited to have her on our team as we continue to help dancers of all ages grow into capable, compassionate, and creative individuals.
