What kinds of dancers thrive in company programs?
Company dancers are motivated, focused, and excited to grow. They enjoy structure, love being part of a team, and are ready to prioritize dance as a meaningful commitment.
What’s the difference between Spotlight Company and Connections Company?
Both programs are performance-based and auditioned. Spotlight Company represents our most advanced and highly committed dancers, while Connections Company offers a strong performance experience with a slightly different training and scheduling structure. Placement is based on a combination of readiness, skill, and overall fit.
What is the time commitment like?
Company participation includes required weekly classes, rehearsals, performances, and seasonal events. Specific schedules and expectations will be reviewed in detail during the Parent Info Meetings.
Are performances required?
Yes. Performance opportunities are a core part of the company experience and help dancers grow in confidence, artistry, and professionalism.
Does my dancer need prior company experience to audition?
No prior company experience is required. We welcome dancers who feel ready for the next step in their training and are excited to learn more.
What ages can audition?
Company auditions are open to dancers entering elementary school and up. Age groupings and placement are determined during the audition process.
How do we get started?
The first step is attending a Parent Informational Q&A. This meeting is required for any family planning to audition and provides important context before auditions begin.
