We’re excited to announce that we are continuing to use the RFTB App Groups this season! These groups are your direct, dedicated channel for all information specific to your dancer’s class.

You’ll soon receive an invitation to join your dancer’s class group via the email we have on file. Be sure to accept it! Here is what you can expect to be shared directly in your App Group:

  • Class-Specific Reminders: Quick notes about special in-class needs (e.g., shoe checks, changes to classroom drop-off).
  • Performance Updates: Detailed information specific to your class’s costume, choreography notes, and recital logistics.
  • Teacher Check-Ins: Updates from your dancer’s instructor related to that specific class.

This allows us to keep studio-wide announcements and general reminders separate and clear (those will continue to be shared through our weekly studio email, THE BEAT).

Keep an eye on your inbox for your invitation…you won’t want to miss a thing!

What a blast it’s been getting back into the swing of things! We kicked off Season 11 with tons of energy, incredible dancing, and a brand-new way to connect our amazing studio family: Back To Dance Bingo!

The Buzz About Bingo!

For the first time ever, we turned those first two weeks of classes into a giant, studio-wide scavenger hunt and friend-maker! Our goal was simple: help our dancers, especially those in grade school, break the ice, meet new faces, and discover some of the fun elements around the studio.

If you haven’t seen it yet, here’s a peek at the Bingo card that kept our dancers busy (and giggling!) in the lobby:

It was so much fun seeing dancers running up to each other asking, “Have you ever taken class with Ms. Reyana?” or checking if a friend was “Wearing a RFTB leotard.” Not only did they make new friends and find things like a Splits Club Patch or a RFTB Dance Company member, but they also learned that our studio is a place where every dancer is welcome and excited to meet them!

A Tradition is Born!

The response was absolutely incredible! We had dozens of dancers turning in cards with one, two, or even three BINGOs! Because of the fantastic engagement, we’ve decided that Back To Dance Bingo is officially a new tradition at the studio. Get ready for an even bigger and better Bingo next season!

And the Winner Is…

As a special thank you for jumping into our new tradition with such enthusiasm, every completed Bingo line earned a dancer an entry into our Welcome Back Raffle!

We drew a name from the bucket full of entries and are thrilled to announce our first-ever Back To Dance Bingo Grand Prize Winner:

🎉 Congratulations, LUNA KING! 🎉

[Winner’s Name] will be receiving a fantastic studio prize pack! Please stop by the front desk to claim your goodies!

A huge thank you to everyone who participated! Your excitement made this a truly special start to Season 11. Keep dancing, keep making friends, and stay tuned for more fun ways to Elevate & Celebrate this year!

Dear Dance Families,

The energy in our studio is always rooted in kindness, community, and the belief that every dancer deserves to be seen, celebrated, and supported. Today, I want to share a deeply personal reason why that value of community means so much to me.

This month is an important time for Blood Cancer Awareness, a cause profoundly close to my heart. My own mother, a light in my life, lost her battle with a rare blood cancer a year ago in June. Her memory inspires me every day to fight—a fight to give others the hope, support, and opportunities she didn’t have.

This is why Reach For The Barres is partnering with Chrysalis Fitness to host a powerful, two-part fundraising event on Sunday, October 5th.

Move, Connect, and Save Lives with RFTB

This is more than just a class; it’s a chance to turn movement into a movement!

  • The Cause: Proceeds from the fitness classes will go to the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, now Blood Cancer United, an organization doing life-saving work.
  • The Class: Join us for a heart-pumping, sweaty, joyful barre workout at 2:00 PM or 3:30 PM. Secure your spot and donate by booking your class now!
  • The Ultimate Impact: While donations are wonderful, the most impactful way to give back is to become a potential bone marrow donor. If you’re 18 to 35 years old, we’ll have an easy, painless NMDP donor registration booth set up. It takes minutes to give a sample that could literally save a life. This small act of community is monumental.

My hope is that through our collective action, we can raise vital money, awareness, and opportunities so that other families don’t have to face this battle alone.

Let’s standing together for a beautiful cause.

Unpacking Your Dancer’s “All About Me” Sheet!

If you picked up a Welcome Box or Welcome Back Bag this season, you might have found a bright, fun worksheet titled “All About Me!” (Take a peek at the adorable design below!)

This sheet is more than just a piece of paper—it’s one of our favorite tools for connecting with every dancer who walks through our doors!

Why We Ask “All About Me!”

Three weeks down, and we’ve loved every moment with our amazing dancers! 💖 As we head into week four, we want to give a friendly reminder to turn your dancer’s “All About Me” sheet in to their instructors.

Why do we ask you to take the time to fill them out?

  • Build Stronger Connections: These sheets are a valuable tool for our staff to get to know our dancers better—from their favorite color to their dance dreams! Knowing little details helps us engage them in class, offer personalized encouragement, and tailor our approach to their interests.
  • Make Every Dancer Feel Seen: Knowing their favorite song or what they want to be when they grow up helps us build stronger connections and make every dancer, big or small, feel celebrated and seen as a whole person, not just a student.
  • Keep the Tradition Going: We love looking back! We actually have “All About Me” pages going back nearly 10 years for some of our current students, and it’s a wonderful tradition we love to keep alive.

A Quick Reminder for Week Four!

If your dancer has already submitted their sheet—thank you! If not, please help us make this season the most personal and connected one yet by sending it in this week.

If you’ve misplaced your sheet, no worries! Just Reach out to us and we’ll happily send you a link to print a new one at home.

Let’s make this Season 11 the best one yet! ✨
